About Uganda Land Commission
The Uganda Land Commission (ULC) was established in accordance with Article 238 of the 1995 Constitution of Uganda. The primary mandate of the ULC is to hold and manage any land in Uganda that is vested in or acquired by the Government of Uganda. This responsibility is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution. In addition to its core function, the ULC may also be assigned other functions as prescribed by the Parliament of Uganda.
